UL listed Copper Bonded Rod is used for efficient and long lasting earthing, while complying the most demanding regulations. Pure electrolytic copper (99.9%) is molecularly bonded to a low carbon, high tensile steel core more than 0.254 mm (254 microns) thick to form copper bonded rods. Steel and copper are evenly bonded due to the selection of low carbon and high tensile steel. Minimum 254 microns thickness of copper layer is maintained to meet the UL 467 standard. UL 467, BS 970 & AISI 1018 compliance is followed for low carbon tensile steel which can be stretched or extended at least up to 600 N/mm2. The oxidation opposed steel rods add strength and longevity to electrical grounding system.
