PIVM, Type 1 2 / Class I II / Class B C Surge Arresters are in accordance to EN 61643-11 and IEC 61643-1. Base part and pluggable module are two major parts of this device. These lightning + surge arresters type 1+2 and class I+II can be used effectively in the Lightning Protection Zones Concept at the LPZ 0-2 boundaries (as per the IEC 1312-1 and EN 62305) for equipotential bonding as well as reduction of transient over-voltage that occurs at the time of atmospheric discharges or switching processes. In the TNS and TT systems, PIVM can be used along with B25M. Buyers can turn to PIVM surge arresters, given to their safety and user-friendly features. These perform well because of the characteristics, like Thermal Disconnecting Control monitoring device, reliable protective circuit and heavy-duty zinc oxide varistors.
Proper and strong fixing to the base par is ensured by the pluggable modules, which are not loosen by vibration during transport or significant electromagnetic forces of discharge. There is no requirement of any tools during replacement, as the protection modules can be simply pulled out.
The green and red indicator flags display the functioning of all protective circuits and varistors. Type 1 2 / Class I II / Class B C Surge Arresters also feature a three-pole remote signaling terminals (Potential Free Contact), with a floating changeover contact. It is possible to make or break contact with the use of remote signal based on the circuit concept.
